Leinster Schools' League
On Wednesday 10 April St Andrew’s College Senior Chess Team went up against St Conleth’s College in the senior division of the Leinster Schools Chess League.
St Andrew’s came out ahead, with Ross Beatty, Eoghan O’Mahony, Callum Scanlon, and Brian Ward winning their games, resulting in a score of 4-1.

On Thursday 11 April St Andrew’s College went up against Coláiste Eoin in the senior and junior divisions.
We saw wins from Brian Ward and newcomer Adam Kelly, with Ross Beatty agreeing to a draw with his opponent. Unfortunately that was the extent of our scoring, finishing 1-4 in the junior division and 1 ½ - 3 ½ in the senior division.
