On Thursday 29 August the Pembroke Minor Boys' cricket team, captained by First Year student William Beatty, beat Rush to win the Leinster Minor A league.  This win made the boys double champions as earlier in August they won the Leinster U13 cup.

So as not to be outdone by the boys, William's sister Georgia (P5) played on the Pembroke Boys' team that won the Leinster U11 cup.
