Over the weekend of 16 to 18 November, Third Year student Rian Geraghty McDonnell competed internationally for the first time representing Ireland in his new 29er.  He has only just progressed out of the opti class to the 29er class.  He and his crew member Nathan Van Steenberge (Blackrock College) were competing against 40 others in the UK Championships  Grafham UK where they managed to take Junior First Place and 7th place overall.
