U19 Team win Quarter Finals
Congratulations and well done to the U19 girls' Basketball team who beat The Teresian School in a very strong performance on Thursday 14 December.
The team was captained and led by a strong performance from Niamh Mc Loughlin but the 'Most Valuable Player' award went to Sarah Bulger whose defence proved to be too tough for Teresian's best players. It was a resilient performance by our girls and the outcome was hard to call going into the fourth quarter. Our team kept plugging away to keep our lead. All players contributed to the win and the final score was 33 to 21.
Well done to all the players, parents and supporters who dropped in. Their support made a huge difference to the team. For some photos taken at the match please clidk here.
The semi finals will, most likely, take place in the second week of January due to the Dublin League semi final against Colaiste Pobail Setanta which is due to be played on 11 January in the Oblate Hall at 10.30am
