French
Bonjour!
My name is Christine Reboul and I am the French teacher in St Andrew’s College Junior School. I am originally from the South of France, and I have been living in Ireland since 1993.
I am extremely passionate about teaching and I have had the opportunity to teach children from the age of 3 all the way to secondary school students for 20 years in different schools. I am also a Montessori teacher.
Communication is the most important aspect in teaching a language. For this reason, I organise interesting and fun lessons and I can adapt them to the children's needs.
During French classes I organise pen pal correspondence between P5 /P6 and students from a school near Paris. The first letter will be done together in class. We also plan Visio calls with these students which enhance the communication, and the children enjoy practising their French in an authentic situation.
Throughout the year we also have different activities and workshops where all children can discover and experiment with the French culture and language
