TY Assembly Notices - Monday 15 December - 

  • Well done, everyone: the Winter Fair was fantastic!

  • Uganda trip application forms: a draft form is now available on Teams and on the website, along with a Selection Policy and a Timeline document.

  • U-Live: February 4th. We will start planning and organising this after Christmas.

  • Work Experience: everybody needs to submit a Blue Form after Christmas, outlining your placement. Start planning if you have not already done so.

  • A Career in… details: Project 2 – get started!

  • Christmas hampers: each form will do one on Friday.

  • Workshops with Rob Lewis: see the noticeboard for details. Runs across three days; normal classes will run concurrently.

  • Legal Studies trip to the Four Courts: runs tomorrow (Tuesday). Return to SAC at lunchtime.

  • Lockers and shelves on the corridor need to be neat and tidy before we break up. Do not leave anything on the shelves or corridors; items will be cleared away on Thursday.

TY Assembly Notices - Monday 24 November - 

  • Huge WELL DONE! to all the folks who helped make the 'Think Languages' day a great success 
  • Uganda T-shirts, order ASAP if you want them before winter Fair (on sale:  reg, break , lunch outside the library)
  • Gaisce: email Mr Doyle with any questions and updates
  • Winter Fair Thursday 11 December, speak up if your stall is struggling, otherwise, keep going!
  • Exam week: info sent to parents and on noticeboard and teams.
  • If you know you will miss an exam come to TY office to tell us please!
  • Options and extended core after Christmas; check the noticeboard and come to office if any problems.
  • Student council meeting at lunch time
  • Uganda project / trip information, see noticeboard for timeline and details. 
  • German Exchange: good luck to all those who are travelling after exam week.
  • Well done Hope Shoe Box people, the boxes were collected on Monday.

TY Assembly Notices - Monday 17 November - 

  • Uganda T-Shirts, please buy one to support the Uganda project, on sale this week €15. 
  • Barista 4 this Thursday, Barista 5 ( check your emails)
  • Post Christmas Options subjects and extended core, check notice board for your time allocation, come to TY office with any issues.
  • Winter Fair: you should be focusing on task by now.
  • Tombola, spin the wheel, ; meet with Ms Burke tomorrow ( Tuesday am in SFL), Mr Doyle is out.
  • Think languages trip to UCD, meet @11.00 outside senior hall
  • Think Languages day on Wednesday, see noticeboard for activities and venues. 
  • Uganda trip: a brief chat was had about the trip and application process, see website or talk to Mr Hickmott for more details.
  • NO Ugg boots or slides please!!

  • Orange / white / blue forms, must be handed in in person, not emailed.
  • Think Languages: see Ms Reneaud for details of trip to UCD next Monday.
  • Exam week: see noticeboard, it's complicated and you need to know what you are doing on each day.

  • #Winter fair: Last chance sign up, we need all hands on deck.
  • Story of me; if late, see Form Teacher directly please.
  • Barista 3;Thursday 6th November see emails for details 
  • Percy Pigs;  watch you emails for distribution info.
  • Digital Portfolio; presentation showing what is expected, ask if you need help.
  • Shoe Box Volunteers; thanks to all who volunteered, talks by class group in Junior School after Half term.

TY Assembly Notices - Monday 06 October - 

  • RNLI; street collections taking place Friday 17th October, TY volunteers wanted, collect consent forms and return them to TY Office. 
  • Winter Fair:  sign up and suggestions will be asked for through teams very soon. Get thinking what stalls would be good.
  • Barcelona trip; give forms to TY office ASAP please. 
  • Barista courses;  Course 1 is on this Thursday, course 2 next week. watch your emails for details. Sign ups are at reg time.
  • Story of Me assignment hand in next Monday 13th October. ( Don't forget 3 single sheets at the end: Baby photo, interesting relative, funny primary school story)
  • Shoe Box:  We want you all to prepare one. (if you'd like to help throughout the school, sign up in TY office.)
  • Junior Cycle results out on  Wednesday, given to you period 6 senior hall. Letter sent home to parents with details.
  • Maths club: Tuesday lunchtimes F03, see Mr Goode for details
  • International night / week.  11- 14 November, it's a huge school event and we need help! Helpers wanted, see teams or TY office for details. 
  • IB: Mr Quinn spoke about IB in the school. there will be an info night on 6th November, see Mr Quinn for details.

  • Uganda Project Launch this week. Winter fair and U-Live sign ups will be available soon, get thinking! 
  • Skills classes rotate this week. See noticeboard for details
  • Well done volunteers who helped run the interschool Chess competition. 
  • Gaisce sign up, see Mr Doyle for details
  • Garda vetting, see Mr Hickmott if confused
  • Uniform: NO UGG BOOTS!
  • Think Languages ( this initiative is running soon, helpers needed, see Ms Reneaud or Ms Breton for details)

TY Assembly Notices - Monday 22nd September - 

  • Work experience / CV  / cover letters: support material for all these can be found in Teams
  • Grapevine are looking for people to assist in the production process of the magazine, ( Ms Hickey for details)
  • Junior School are seeking helpers for Wednesday afternoons (1pm - 2pm) 'board games club' with the smaller kids 
  • Friday OB / PE  went well this week make sure you look in advance of Friday ( see Mr Hickmott for details)
  • All TY maths testing on October 2nd. be aware please.
  • Terenure MUN  Saturday 4th October, get involved! ( see Mr Hehir for details)
  • Musical rehearsals also Saturday 4th October
  • Final call for assistance with Chess tournament ( see Mr Doyle for details)

  • Garda vetting: be aware this may be essential for work experience placements. It takes time, you need to start the process early. 
  • New Friday PE ? OB timetable; Dalkey climbing is no longer possible Bray bowling alley has taken its place, see notice board and teams for details.
  • there is a survey in teams which we would love you to complete.
  • Volunteers needed to help run the SAC Chess invitational tournament: jobs for all! contact Mr Doyle
