Prefects at SAC Junior School

At SACJS, becoming a prefect is one of the most exciting and important aspects of life in 6th Class. Our prefect system offers pupils the opportunity to show leadership, responsibility, and initiative, while setting a positive example for the rest of the school community. Being a prefect is a role of honour and trust, and our 6th Class pupils take great pride in wearing the badge that symbolises their contribution to school life.

Prefects carry out a wide range of duties that support the smooth running of the school. These include helping in the K1/K2 classrooms, keeping the library and STEM room organised, and offering support in P6 classrooms. Through these roles, they develop valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, and time management. Prefects are selected and rotated throughout the year, giving all pupils the chance to experience this important leadership role.

Being a prefect at SACJS is not only a proud achievement in Junior School but also an excellent preparation for future responsibilities in the Senior School and beyond. It helps to build confidence and a sense of community service that pupils carry with them as they continue their education. Our prefects are role models and leaders, and we are always proud of the maturity and enthusiasm they bring to this important role.
