Ms Meaghan Gould

Hello there! My name is Meaghan Gould, and I am the U.S. Studies teacher here at St. Andrew’s College Junior School. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, USA, and a recent graduate of Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN, where I completed my B.A. and teacher training.
I came to Ireland almost three years ago now for a volunteer program through the University of Notre Dame. I have a strong passion for teaching, and I am so excited to join the SACJS community. In addition to teaching U.S. Studies this year, I am completing a Master of Education at Trinity College Dublin.
The U.S. Studies curriculum is designed to build students’ knowledge of people, places, culture, history, and geography of the United States. One of my biggest goals in delivering this curriculum is to make interdisciplinary connections across subjects, including Art, Music, Digital Media, and Science. I recognize the important role U.S. Studies plays in your child’s education here at St. Andrew’s College, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to support them in their learning.
I am really looking forward to an exciting year ahead with you and the entire St. Andrew’s College community!
