The after-school art portfolio class helps to prepare senior students applying to third level colleges for art, design and architecture degree programmes. Many third level courses require a portfolio of art work as part of the application process. Over the course of several weeks, the students develop a comprehensive body of artwork in a variety of media. 

The Art Department staff have for many years successfully prepared students for applications to degree programmes in Ireland, UK, EU and USA. 

The art portfolio class usually takes place on Wednesday afternoons between 1.30-3.30pm in the senior art rooms.
