Sidney Edge has been teaching both privately and through schools for the past seven years.  He is a guitarist and composer working both as a band leader and sideman, nationally and internationally, performing and recording in many settings from jazz to contemporary/experimental as well as pop and indie.  He has studied music at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and graduated from DCU in 2025 with a BA in Jazz and Contemporary Performance. 
His devotion and curiosity towards music as well as being an actively performing musician enables him to bring current musical knowledge and performance experience to his lessons, helping his students to connect their learning to real world contexts.  His focus is on student-centred and adaptable lesson plans tailored to each individual with the intent of meeting learners at every stage of their musical development.
