Guitar Teacher

Peter Moc is a professional guitarist, composer, producer, music educator, journalist and amateur videographer. His performing and teaching material covers popular music, rock, folk, jazz, blues and classical. He studied classical music and jazz performance in the Czech Republic, Ireland and New York. He has been teaching music in Ireland for past 13 years in both private and public music programs and Music Generation. His curiosity and passion for music education has been a driving force behind his online project Jazz Student Culture – interviews with musicians and educators from all over the world, book reviews and music-related literature.

Peter Moc Group has recorded multiple albums with his original instrumental music and currently he plays and records with an award-winning singer-songwriter, musician and actress Marketa Irglova, who starred in the film ONCE with also award-winning Glen Hansard. ONCE features many iconic songs by Marketa and Glen, these songs are inspiring future generations of street artists and buskers all over the world. Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard introduced Peter to wonderful artists such as – Bono, The Edge, Imelda May, Dermot Kennedy and many more at recording set for “Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming with Dave Letterman” recently released on Disney Plus. Peter credits his passion for music to his favourite artists, former teachers, music friends and supporters and incredibly productive and hard-working Marketa Irglova.
