Catriona grew up in the Gaeltacht area of North West Donegal, and did her first piano exam at the age of three.

She is a Graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Drama in London, and holds a Masters in Music from TU Dublin.

She believes in a holistic approach to her piano and violin teaching, incorporating the psychology of teaching across all ages and stages.

Catriona feels equally at home playing Bach, Beethoven, Beatles, Taylor Swift, Lady Ga Ga, pop, rock, and Irish music on the fiddle, tin whistle, accordion, piano and organ.
