Voice Teacher

Chris Holland is a seasoned musical theatre performer with over two decades of experience on the West End stage. He made his debut in 1993 in the original Nik Hytner production of Miss Saigon at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and has since starred in some of the world’s most iconic musicals, including Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, Grease, The Official Tribute to The Blues Brothers, Titanic and many more.  He has originated leading roles in new productions such as Rags Ryan in Burlesque, Davy Harrison in The Last Ship with Sting, Frank in Kay Mellor’s Fat Friends,  and Ninoy in Calling Manila for the Opera House, Covent Garden. Chris was also a featured performer on BBC1’s Showstoppers, which drew an audience of over 10 million viewers.  

He has headlined with major orchestras, including several seasons with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, performing repertoire from James Bond to Queen and festive concerts like Christmas Crackers. He also entertains audiences with his popular one-man show. He is a multi award winning voice over artist with Talksport Radio. 

Chris has over 15 years of teaching experience, working with children and adults across primary, secondary, and performing arts schools, preparing students for both Junior and Leaving cert practicals, and entering them for LCM examinations. He also provides expert coaching for UK and Ireland full-time vocational college auditions. Many of his students have gone on to appear in West End and Broadway productions including Cats, Jersey Boys, and Hairspray. 

He teaches masterclasses and workshops across Ireland and the UK. In 2022, he founded Come and Sing, an adult choir based in Greystones and Wicklow Town, which continues to be a huge success.

In 2013 he was awarded a Fellowship of the London College of Music.
