P4C

Welcome to P4C!
My name is Cyrilla Comer and I am delighted to be a part of the St Andrew’s College Junior School staff for the upcoming year. I received my Bachelor’s of Education from Marino Institute of Education in 2021, having completed placements in a number of primary schools catering to a wide variety of educational needs.
I have taught in a number of different schools across Europe, including two wonderful years in a European School in Brussels teaching the European Schools Curriculum. I have always prided myself on creating a classroom environment where children feel inspired to engage, feel safe to express themselves and are excited to come in to the classroom every day. I believe this atmosphere comes from not only developing an understanding of each child’s needs throughout my time with them, but also by cultivating an environment where the children feel supported by each other.
I know that a truly well-rounded education comes from a child being aided to nurture their own personality, which is why I support my pupils to find their passions and interests outside of the classroom. Outside of the classroom, I have spent time in London studying acting and working in theatre, and I also spend a great deal of time outdoors.
I am so excited to be able to bring my passion for education to this year’s P4 class, and look forward to a great year ahead.
