On Saturday 19^th September our newly re-established equestrian team headed off to Boswells Equestrian Centre for their first Inter-Schools Show-Jumping Competition.  The team consisted of Kate Flynn, Ali Barrett, Rebecca Vard and Georgia Hunter.  The girls  jumped clear rounds putting St Andrew's into the jump-off against nine other schools.  Two of our riders had to compete in this speed round and, in spite of our best efforts, finished just out of the ribbons.  After the team event, they participated in individual competitions representing St Andrew’s College.  Georgia Hunter put in a great performance being placed 2^nd overall.  The girls were satisfied with their first team event and are looking forward to the next Inter-Schools competition in Coilog Equestrian Centre, Kildare.
