Congratulations to the Minor Boys hockey team who participated in the John Waring Trophy on Wednesday April 15th. They went into their final game of the tournament against a strong Methody side with a perfect record of four wins from four and no goals conceded. Unfortunately they came out the wrong side of a 2-0 scoreline but will have gained hugely from the experience.

The boys reached the competition on the back of winning the Leinster Minor Cup in an epic game v High School in the final that swung both ways but needed a last minute equaliser from St Andrew's to bring the game into extra time finishing 3-3. In extra time St Andrew's had the best chances to win the game but again the game went to strokes with the guys coming through to retain the Leinster Minor Cup. Well done to all concerned on an outstanding season.
