November 2025 - 46 of our Sixth Years had inspiring four-day adventure in Brussels!

From exploring the European Parliament and European Commission to touring the National Bank of Belgium, our students got an incredible real-world look at how European politics, business and the economy all connect.

They even stepped into the shoes of MEPs for a role-play simulation, gaining first hand insight into EU decision-making — and were very fortunate to meet Irish Commissioner Michael McGrath for a fascinating Q&A session.

Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play! From chocolate-making and tasting, to bowling, escape rooms, laser tag and an amusement park  — there was plenty of fun along the way!

A wonderful trip for a wonderful group — tired but happy students returning home with memories made and lessons learned.
