P6S get creative

Designing Book Covers

In P6S, the boys and girls started their new class novel, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and they were looking at the different book covers available.

As part of this project, their fantastic teacher Ms Scarlett asked the students to take a photo of something in their house or vicinity which could be used as a new book cover.

The pupils showed great imagination, individuality and creativity.  Amongst the items they photographed are lights, the underneath of an ironing table, piano keys, fences and window blinds, to name but a few. It goes to show that, although we are learning from home, we can continue to be courageous in our thinking!

Great job by  all!
