Whiteside Trophy retained in dramatic style.

The Senior A Boys retained the Whiteside Trophy after a major twist in the final match of the competition.  Bandon travelled to play Wesley with the latter requiring a draw or a win to secure the trophy. A dramatic 3-2 win for the Cork side meant that St Andrew's, Wesley and Bandon all finished tied on 12 points from their 6 games. St Andrew's College secured the title due to their head-to-head aggregate scores over their two matches, 5-4 v Wesley and 3-2 v Bandon in what was the most tightly contested competition to date. The Whiteside Trophy is contested between the Leinster Senior Cup Finalists and the two top school sides in Munster.   This year Ashton were the other side involved playing a round-robin format with all sides playing each other home and away.
