A Development Plan has been put in place which will give the students and teachers of St. Andrew's College a first-class educational environment. The first phase includes a 25,000 sq. ft. East Wing consisting of three storeys over basement comprising 25 classrooms and three teachers' offices at ground, first and second floor. At basement level there are four team changing rooms, plant rooms and storage for sports equipment.

The building will be finished in stainless steel panels using the highest quality materials both internally and externally. External louvers will reduce solar gain on south-facing windows.

Special features include:

• A passsenger lift which serves all floors and the existing sports hall.
• A covered walkway which leads to a new main entrance to the College.
• Solar panels which will generate hot water.
• Tanks where rainwater will be harvested.
• New viewing decks on the north elevation of the existing sports hall looking over the playing fields.
