The Wine-Dark Sea, now in its twelfth year, is SAC’s literary magazine. Most closely connected with the English Department, to whom a great debt is owed, it is also affiliated to the Irish Department, the various language departments and the European Annexe. Its purpose is simple. It is a prestige publication that showcases the creative writing of our students. It is a vehicle for excellence and its high standards are maintained by the assiduous work of its editors and the various staff who are often the first point of contact for creative writing.
