P4WE
Hello, I am Angela Westbrooks. I have the great privilege of teaching P4 this year. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Elementary Education and a teaching certificate from the state of Washington. I am originally from Colorado, USA where I spent a year teaching. Two years ago my husband and I decided to move back to his hometown of Dublin. I have truly enjoyed experiencing Irish culture and hope to learn more with your students. This is my second year at St. Andrews and I am looking forward to the meaningful experiences our class will share together.
It is my strong belief that learning is a life-long journey and my job is to encourage and inspire students on their journey. I plan to achieve this by facilitating and guiding challenging, hands-on, learning experiences, creating a community of trust, and allowing students the opportunity to gain confidence and achieve success. It is my goal to be a Community of Confident, Capable, Caring, Creative, Citizens of the world. We have the exciting privilege of using technology in our classroom this year. We will be utilizing these tools to connect with the world around us and build our digital literacy. I cannot wait to share in this with your students.
