Web Resources

Web based resources mean information is available to you 24/7 and you don’t have to be physically present in the library to use them.  The following is a selection of what is available on the internet.  This list is by no means complete and new resources will be added as they are discovered.

Please note that some of the websites listed below are fee based and will provide limited results to non-fee payers.

Sometimes the website address will change or the link will be broken.  To re-find the site:

1)       Go to www.google.com

2)       Click on the ‘Advanced Search’ link

3)       In the ‘exact phrase’ box type in the website you are looking for eg History Today

4)       Click on ‘Google Search’ and the new website address should be displayed

Please note American websites use the term ‘Math’ rather than ‘Maths’.
