Finding Resources

Books

Books and journals are important sources of information for history students as they are peer reviewed.  That is, their contents are reviewed by experts for accuracy, lack of bias etc. before publication.  Something, that may not happen with web based resources.

Carry out a key word or subject search on Heritage (the Library Catalogue) to find the resources you need.
To access Heritage simply log on to your computer account.  Select the school website and click on the Heritage link.  Enter your reader number to access heritage eg R1234

History Books are organised on the shelves by Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) using the number range 900 - 999.
