International Night 2006!
This annual school event is an opportunity for us all to explore and celebrate the wide variety of nationalities and cultures within the school.
St. Andrew's is very proud of the fact that international students account for about a quarter of the entire student body.
Over 200 students participated this year. These students coming from literally every corner of the world. These students have volunteered to take part in our parade, many dressed in their national costumes. Some students performed songs, danced or played musical instruments in a very international Variety Show.
Nations respresented this year were Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Cyprus, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia/Montenegro, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, The United States of America, Zimbabwe.
It has become a tradition that all money raised on International Night be given to a charity. This year all proceeds will be given to the Lesotho Aids Orphans.
