Group 5: Special Awards

European Council of International Schools Award For International Understanding

"Awarded to a student who is a good representative of his/her own country, with a positive attitude towards the life and culture of others, able to converse in at least two languages, a contributing force in the life of the school, with the ability to bring differing people together into a sense of community, thus furthering the cause of international understanding." Awarded by the Headmaster in consultation with appropriate staff.

The TRF Cox Memorial Trophy
Awarded to the sports team which has been most successful during the year (as determined by the Sports Coordinator in conjunction with the sports staff).

The Heuston Kincaid Memorial Shields for Cricket
Awarded to the junior and senior boys who have made the greatest improvement in their cricketing skills during the season as adjudged by the Cricket coaches in conjunction with the manager for Cricket and the Sports Coordinator.

The Collen-Craigie Hockey Salver
Awarded to the winners of the end-of-season College tournament in which teams representing all years participate. Organised by the manager of Girls Hockey in conjunction with the Sports Coordinator.

The Mary Birbeck Trophy
Awarded to the Senior girl who has contributed most to the development of sport in the College. Awarded by the sports staff in conjunction with the Sports Coordinator.

The Mary Arnott Collen Trophy
Awarded to the 6th Year girl who, in the opinion of the whole school, has displayed exemplary qualities in the areas of sport and comradeship throughout her career in the College.

The Percy Cup
Awarded to the 6th Year boy who, in the opinion of the whole school, has displayed exemplary qualities in the areas of sport and comradeship throughout his career in the College.
